Scott Williams Bio
I am the oldest of four boys and was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri. My father was a drama teacher so I grew up back stage and had many acting experiences in my early years. In 1968 my family moved to Cupertino, CA and I graduated from Cupertino H.S. in 1970 and moved to Santa Barbara to attend U.C.S.B. I spent my Junior year abroad at the University of Bordeaux in France and I have a degree in Cultural Anthropology.
I started my real estate business by going door to door distributing a newsletter about local real estate on Santa Barbara’s Mesa in 1978 and by 1990 I had knocked on over 20,000 doors and was selling at least one home every month in that neighborhood. That newsletter now goes out via mail and e-mail and I cover most parts of town. I sell a home every month on the Mesa, but half of my sales are elsewhere. I live in the Foothills and sell many homes on an acre or more of land including the finest locations in Hope Ranch and Montecito.
I love to ballroom and contra dance, I do improvisational acting, I speak fluent French, I play the clarinet and I love the possibilities from participating in Landmark Education. I love our local wines and am excited about traveling. I give back to the community through bringing dance and improvisational acting to many venues. I have two grown children and I dote on them.
